The MTR Corporation has partnered with the Art Promotion Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department to call for original station artwork proposals for three new community railways, namely West Island Line, Kwun Tong Line Extension and South Island Line (East), which showcase the unique culture of the local districts and enhance the travelling environment. Proposals were selected at the final adjudication for commissioning by the MTR.
