The Art Promotion Office (APO) organises public art projects that are designed to relate to and identify with local communities in Hong Kong. We explore artistic possibilities beyond our traditional art venues as a way to encourage the public to interact with the arts anywhere and at any time. Our aim is to create spaces that inspire the imagination and establish community connections, using art as the vehicle, by highlighting the possibilities and appeal of local environments so that we can learn about our neighbourhoods and our stories in depth.

Public Art Map
There are many pieces of public art commissioned or acquired by the Art Promotion Office. Some 50 of them are currently on display at parks, libraries, theatres, government complexes and other public venues all over Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories.
