This space showcases Gary’s diverse body of work which often involves layering and world building. Here, visitors are invited to go on a transportive journey through a series of "encrusted" sculptures and paintings that combine elements of Western, Eastern, modern and ancient inspirations.

“The idea of dressing the historic space into these distinct vivid cubes took shape during my time in Hong Kong when there was a growing desire in me to create new meanings from existing visual references. The intentional disorienting atmosphere of the space is achieved through the re-contextualisation of planes and surfaces. There will be elements that native Hongkongers will recognise but may be used in an unfamiliar way.” — Gary Card
