Welcome to a retrospective space that encapsulates the creative journey of Gary Card.

This Research Room is curated with an array of past works and maquettes of the artist that have sparked inspiration throughout the development of the “People Mountain People Sea” exhibition. Here, you will find selections from his evocative Homunculus series (2020) created amidst the solitude of the UK lockdown. Also on display are the initial 3D printed prototypes of the sculptures offering a tangible glimpse into the artist’s manoeuvre from conceptualisation to realisation.
