Golden Playroom
2025
Site-specific art installation
The walls of the room are covered with patchwork fabric with various patterns and materials as well as an array of masks of different shapes and designs, reflecting different cultures around the world. Upon closer observation, visitors will discover that most of the objects were sourced in Hong Kong, and the games in the room are familiar to both Japanese and local audiences. This "extraordinary" playroom which appears to be detached from reality brings together different cultures, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the richly diverse atmosphere.
