The artist once visited the Oi! Warehouse and was moved by the passage of time within this architectural space, which has stood for over a century. Traces of different historical periods intertwine here, crossing the boundaries of time and space.
At the core of the work is a suspended cube, from which beams of light project outward to form a precise and interwoven network. The beams represent time, piercing through the space of the Oi! Warehouse from multiple directions and extending beyond it, symbolising the continuity of history. When the red meteorite at the centre of the cube is illuminated, the space surrounding the viewers appears to stretch infinitely. Past and future converge in the instant when the beams meet.
