Chapter 1: People 𝑥
A Food Capsule, with things such as canned food, jars and bento, is a familiar food format where food supply relies on imports. It is a widely used format for humans to contain, mass-produce and transport food ingredients across time and space. Very often, the food in them offers a highly controlled flavour; imagine how each can of baked beans tastes exactly the same. At the same time, it is also a food format, in which humans encapsulate not only their food but the values behind it, and each time a capsule is opened, a flavour or a kind of food is revealed.
“People 𝑥” takes the concept of sealing and unveiling of food capsules as a metaphor for encapsulating and revealing the secret of an individual.

Chapter 2: Time 𝑥
Time is linear in fermentation. Bread dough rises and kombucha turns fizzy. However, time can also be non-linear. When we take sips of kombuchas fermented at various times, each bottle provides a different multi-verse sensation, from a berrylicious wonderland to an herbal realm.
“Time 𝑥” takes the concept of fermentation as a metaphor for unveiling the unknown of time. So what will you nourish and discover from the unknown when it's your turn to start such a chemical process?

Chapter 3: Space 𝑥
Sun-dried food is still common today. Baskets of fruit peels or tangerine peels become a signature scene you can find in the city: in between a metropolitan street or near some remote villages. This process of sun-drying food is an example of the interaction between people, space, and food: people understand and make use of the characteristics of space, transform various types of food into dried food, and at the same time it shapes and defines our daily spaces.
“Space 𝑥” takes the concept of tangerine as a metaphor to symbolise the ever-changing and unexplored value. Within these uncharted spaces, how do you plan to define the value of Space 𝑥?
