The process of art creativity can be a fairly isolated experience. Yet by discussing with a third person, certain chemistry can take place and enhance artistic vision. Co-organised by Oi! and Art Map, Salon was a platform allowing artists to share their works, from semi-finished to finished works that were six-month up to date with professional art critics as well as the public. With three different themes, including "Painting, graphics, sketches and 2D artworks", "Sculpture, ceramics and 3D artworks" and "New media art", Salon was held on weekends once per month, starting from October 2013, to facilitate communication between artists and audience, as well as the development of Hong Kong art and culture.
