Earth and Fire: Pottery Workshop
Back

【Earth and Fire: Pottery Workshop】
Return to the earth and discover the dialogue between clay and nature! This workshop guides participants through collecting and processing raw clay and plant ash, preparing their own clay bodies and plant-ash glazes, and creating small vessels inspired by the local environment. Through hands-on practice, participants will deepen their connection with clay and nature.
The workshop is led by artist Wallace Yiu. He received a bachelor’s degree with a major in Ceramics, jointly offered by RMIT University and Hong Kong Art School in 2016, and currently teaches at several arts organisations. Blending traditional ceramics with contemporary experimentation, his practice draws on locally sourced natural materials to explore clay as a vessel of place and memory. Places are limited—enrol now!
