Mineral Pigment Painting Workshop

【Mineral Pigment Painting Workshop】
The workshop introduces the use of mineral pigments in painting. The instructor will demonstrate how to prepare pigments and build up layers of colour, and guide participants in rendering and polishing techniques. Through hands-on practice, participants will explore the distinctive qualities of the medium and learn to observe and depict flowers. They will apply these techniques to create a finished mineral pigment painting of hydrangeas.
The workshop is led by artist Leung Pui-yi, a graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her works have been exhibited at galleries and art spaces and are held in private collections.
